Donald Trump’s Inauguration by Numbers

The big day is finally here; the inauguration of Donald Trump as the 45th President of the United States. We made it to this particular day in history without too much disruptions…not yet anyways! Hopefully, the day will go smoothly and our nation can begin to move forward. No matter how one feels about this controversial election, our system has weathered worse times.

The Inauguration by numbers:

  • Donald Trump will be sworn in as the 45th President.
  • Expected crowd: About 700,000 to 900,000 people.
  • President Obama’s 2nd inauguration crowd in 2013: 800,000 people.
  • President Obama’s 1st inauguration in 2009: 1.8 Million people.
  • Secret Officials present: 28,000.
  • Estimated length of Inaugural Address: 20 minutes.
  • Official Balls: 3.
  • Parade Participants: 8,000 from 40 organizations.
  • Parade Route: 1.5 miles from Capitol Hill to the White House.
  • Protest Groups: 99 have signed up.
